STUDENTS
Going higher.
Are you looking for a place to connect with an older girl or guy mentor who’s just one step ahead of you in life? Someone who remembers the pressures of high school and who wants to help you discover how God can meet you right where you are? Do you want to be a part of a community that collectively helps you connect with your friends, go deeper with Jesus, and experience the presence of God? Wherever you find yourself along the journey, we’d love to walk this road with you!
This is Emery’s story —
"Ascent has been a wonderful experience that I am so grateful to be a part of. My mentor is so incredible and I love the time we get to spend together. She has helped guide me closer to the Lord, and I am very thankful for the relationship we have. Ascent is a joyous and uplifting community that has helped strengthened my faith and definitely has a positive impact on me."

Created with you in mind.
The beauty of Ascent is that it removes every practical barrier to obey Jesus by fulfilling the Great Commission right where we are — because everybody has room for one more relationship.
Eliminating barriers
The beauty of Ascent is that it removes every practical barrier to obey Jesus by fulfilling the Great Commission right where we are — because everybody has room for one more relationship.
There is a generation of college graduates primed and ready to get in the game. They just need an invitation. Our ambition is to reach these two generations before graduation, harnessing the potential of these pivotal years in high school and college for the glory of God, and launching them higher into whatever incredible plans God may have for them next.
Relationships
change lives.
MENTORS
Do you want to make a marked impact?
Jesus could have built His Kingdom in any infinite number of ways. In His perfect wisdom, He chose to use his limited time on earth to build relationships with His disciples — and then asked them to do the same.
Ascent provides a space for you to do what Jesus has invited all of us to do — make a disciple.
Mentoring is a simple way for you to share your life with just one high school student.
If you’re looking for a place to grow in your faith and invest your life in the next generation, Ascent is the place for you.
PARENTS
One by one.
We’re so excited to invest in your kids.
A missing piece in most youth ministries is the capacity of leaders to invest in their students one-on-one. That's the gap Ascent exists to fill.
The consistent presence of a role model is a key part of preparing our kids for a life apart from us — and for shaping them into who we, and God, have always hoped they’d become. High school is more than grades, scores, and victories. While most mentoring focuses on skills, swings, and performance, Ascent focuses on their heart, spirit, and character — what shapes the kind of person they will be in the world. At the core, Ascent exists so that every student can discover God’s love and purpose for their lives and learn to walk with Jesus in a real way.
Ascent is not a program. In its simplest form, Ascent is a relationship — your son or daughter, paired with a college student or recent grad, walking together towards Jesus and building a real friendship that brings wisdom, hope, and fun throughout high school and beyond.
